I forgot to remember not to forget to say something about Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day.
We watched a pet movie earlier today, Dog with Channing Tatum, and the big mean old monster got wet eyed. I’ve had a soft spot for dogs as long as I can remember. I’m not exactly sure how that’s a lede for Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day, but quite obviously it’s what you get…
The Rainbow Bridge, as any pet lover knows, is where our beloved pets go to frolic and be reunited with other pet family members until we are all reunited. It is a symbolic reference of the love of our pet and a way to honor him or her by knowing they aren’t gone, they are just in a place filled with rainbows, love and light.
I know where every one of my dogs has been buried since my childhood. I’m just crazy enough to talk to them from time to time. I know this particular topic does not fit in with the general theme of the topics covered here.
My former dogs and I don’t care…

This is the area where I’m supposed to make a joke that none of my pets have ever ran away, but 100% of my worms ran away. I’m not sure is this is a joke or not… “The death of a single pet is a tragedy, the death of 100% of my worms is a statistic.”
